Press Space to spin. Your entries stay in this browser unless you create a share link.
Add images to entries
Images appear inside their wheel segments. Use small square images for the best result.
Random Color Wheel
Pick a random color from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and teal. The eight sample labels appear on matching colored segments for drawing prompts, games, crafts, or classroom activities.
Choose a color in one spin
Press Spin the Wheel and wait for the winner. Each starting color has weight 1 and a 12.5% chance on an independent spin. Repeated colors are possible. Choose Remove after a result if you need several unique colors, or Keep if repeats are allowed.
Edit names and matching segments
To build a custom palette, replace the labels in Entries and open Advanced to change the segment colors. Editing a name does not automatically recolor its segment. Check that names and swatches match. Keep readable text labels so a result is understandable without relying only on color perception.
Ideas for a random color picker
Choose a paint color for a drawing challenge, assign colored stations in a game, select a craft theme, or introduce color-recognition activities. Use only colors available in your materials. This tool selects from a discrete list; it does not generate arbitrary hex colors, test contrast, or create a harmonious design palette.
Save your customized palette
Autosave remembers edits in this browser separately from the main wheel. JSON backup keeps the complete configuration for transfer to another device. Shared snapshots contain supported names, weights, and colors. Screen settings may affect how the colors appear, so review the wheel on the device you will use.
Build a custom list with our random wheel picker tool. Try the number wheel for numbered activities, or browse all wheel templates.
